Register a marriage

Statutory marriages are conducted at the Calabar Municipal Marriage Registry or the Federal Marriage Registry, Calabar.

You can use this service if:

  • you are an individual resident of Cross River State
  • ids of both parties
  • two witnesses
  • passport photos

  4. A state officer will review your application. You'll receive a marriage certificate — usually within 5 working days.
